Do I have to have experience with textiles?
No, beginner classes start at the beginning. You just need curiosity and a willingness to join the adventure of learning a new skill.
What is Tatting?
Tatting is a lacemaking technique created by a series of double stiches (larks head knots) combined to make decorative trims and motifs. Its uses ‘rings & chains’ as the building blocks for designs.
Where are classes held?
Our hosted classes are held in the Hudson Valley & New York Metro Area. Private & small group classes can be arranged just about anywhere.
Who teaches classes?
Ellyane is the main teacher, with over 20 yrs experience making with threads and teaching workshops.
